"Give It"

Verse 1:
So you got two kids, and a nice big house,
With a white picket fence, and a really hot spouse
You work hard, so you can grow old,
You give all you got, and do what you’re told
Well we’ve been told by the God of old to make disciples to grow and mold
To live like Christ, to sacrifice, to take up your cross, and lay down your life

Verse 2:
Jesus saves from the American dream, but we haven’t told em what that really means
It means go to the states, go the world, share your faith to the boys and the girls
We got a heart for the lost, and we’re concerned that people really die and they’re gonna burn
So rise up, say it loud, don’t hide in the corner, stand out in the crowd

Chorus:
We got to get it just to give it
But once we get it what do we do
We got to go and tell the people
Because they’ll never come to you

We got to get it just to give it
But once we get it what do we do
We got to go and tell the people
Because they don’t desire you (no they don’t desire you Lord)

Verse 3:
Don’t hope in the day when you can sit in your chair
You’re in your pajamas and you got no hair
You lounge around and watch the game
You got a wife and kids who do everything
You don’t get up, you don’t go outside, you’re not really living so why don’t you die
Cause God’s got plans to use those hands so get up get out and tell all the lands.

Verse 4:
Paul and the twelve didn’t retire of going hard for God cause they weren’t for hire
They had a job and that’s to show the nations, Christ crucified, he’s our motivation
He’s the reason we live, he’s the reason we die, the cross on his back, got to pick up mine
I’m ready to get on the field and plant some seeds by the power of the spirit, the one who leads

(Chorus)

"Why Go Back"

Verse 1:
Why do we dwell in our stony graves
We’ve be changed, rearranged, by the one who saves
He’s taken down death; we’ve taken up Christ
So let us tell the world who made us heirs and what’s the price

Verse 2:
Once you tasted honey who’d go back to Brussels sprouts
We should be sprouting words of life from our mouths
We’re not bearing any fruit we’re not growing in our faith
We’re doing what’s been done, but our debt’s already been paid

Chorus:
Break free from the shackles that you once lived in
Break free from the lies of the world and come to him
Break me of my lust, pride, and idolatry
Bring me to the crimson flow that was shown on top of Calvary

Verse 3:
If we try to live up to the law then we’re still condemned to death
But if we live for him, we’re alive to Christ and his Word gives us breath
His mercy, his grace, his wounds, our place, he died on the cross and rose from the grave
Conquered death, beat sin, crushed Satan, he wins.
He always does, he always will, he’s God of all, his son he billed.
Can’t boast, no pride, he’s the ruler of our lives, tell the world of the groom, and we are the bride

(Chorus)
